As a key member of our Chassis Development Division, you will be responsible for designing suspension parts and systems that meet targeted schedules and deliver outstanding performance, quality, reliability, value, and enjoyment to our customers.

Your primary focus will be on achieving performance, quality, cost, and delivery targets by confirming supplier part/assembly designs and/or modeling parts and systems in 3D, releasing 2D drawings and specifications using CATIA and MS Office. You will also be responsible for planning and coordinating activities with other design, test, factory, purchasing, and suppliers.

In addition, you will create your own schedules with milestones and trigger points, share them with related groups, lead meetings, and provide constructive thoughts while keeping track of open items. You will also review costs to ensure they meet design intentions and provide solutions if they do not.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles and be able to apply them to complex targets. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
