Mechanical Design Engineer

At American Honda Motor Co., we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Drivetrain Development Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing drivetrain components and technologies that meet our high standards for marketability, reliability, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineering specifications and designs for drivetrain components and technologies.
- Conduct feasibility, cost, and performance analyses to ensure optimal design solutions.
- Use Catia 2D/3D design and predictive simulation tools to create and test designs.
- Collect and analyze data to inform design decisions and improve product performance.
- Manage suppliers and ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.
- Lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- 0-4 years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D Catia design, simulation, and supplier management.
- Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
