Job Title: Customer Service Associate I

The Customer Service Associate I is a key role within Cass Information Systems, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. This position requires a strong ability to analyze issues, communicate effectively, and provide timely resolutions to internal and external inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently analyze issues and processes, and clearly communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve routine questions and processing issues.
  • Research and analyze payment history to identify exceptions and make timely payment decisions for clients.
  • Act as a positive representative of Cass Information Systems, prioritizing customer needs and developing strong relationships.
  • Keep management informed of significant issues that may impact client relationships or require additional attention.
  • Suggest improvements to existing procedures to enhance customer service and internal processes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to maintain accurate client information and update databases.
  • Seek guidance from experienced resources on complex issues and document errors made by other departments.
  • Work overtime as needed to ensure timely resolution of client issues.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize client needs.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate resolutions.
  • College-level coursework in a business administration area or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a general business environment or equivalent experience.
