Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Develop and implement a schedule of activities related to startup testing and commissioning, ensuring timely completion and meeting project requirements.
- Field Supervision: Supervise field crews and mentor Jr. Superintendents, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Safety and Risk Management: Hold and/or attend daily safety meetings, ensuring strict adherence to Lock-Out / Tag-Out Procedures (LOTO) and policies.
- Test and Commissioning: Review, develop, and implement test procedures for component and system testing, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and permitting regulations.
- Contract Administration: Manage contract administration, including subcontractor/field management meetings for communication and coordination.
- Client Relations: Develop a program to maintain good client relations, involving staff on site and ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Technical Expertise: Provide direct/indirect project technical expertise to facilitate FAT, construction, commissioning, and interim operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and design standards.
- Progress Monitoring: Track progress of specialized systems and provide management with timely reports on the progress, activities, and assessment for improvements.
- Change Management: Initiate and attend supplementary and regular meetings with clients for problem resolution and planning, ensuring effective change management and issue resolution.
- Financial Management: Oversee and approve the monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections, ensuring accurate financial reporting and management.
- Performance Evaluation: Ensure that all performance evaluations are completed in a timely fashion for direct reports, promoting a culture of performance excellence and continuous improvement.
- Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of water treatment plant operations, including troubleshooting and recommendations for process improvements.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong math skills, with proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Ability to lead, communicate, and prioritize effectively during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to maintain situational awareness during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations, with more than 6+ years in an Operations role and experience working in electrical, mechanical, instrumental, or other professional training.
- Management Experience: More than 5+ years in a Management role, with prior experience in an Engineering office.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Flow Measurement, Engineering practices, design methods & calculations, PC, Windows, Office Software, and IT implementation background.
- Control Systems: Control systems knowledge and maintenance of PLC and PC-based control systems, with experience with mechanical equipment like pipelines, valves, pumps, and other mechanical equipment with moving parts.
