Position Overview

We are seeking a Swap Driver to become a valued member of the Hoffman Auto Group family.

Key Responsibilities

Role Objective

The Swap Driver is accountable for the safe and efficient transfer of vehicles, ensuring proper handling of both customer and company-owned automobiles.

Leadership Structure

This role does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Primary Duties
  1. Transporting new and pre-owned vehicles as directed by the Sales Manager between various dealership locations.
  2. Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles and promptly reporting any damages to management.
  3. Assisting with auction runs as necessary.
  4. Ensuring the accuracy of dealer trade documentation and notifying management of any discrepancies.
  5. Reporting any incidents or injuries immediately and alerting management to any hazards.
  6. Fulfilling the responsibilities of a Lot Attendant when required.
  7. Carrying out various tasks within the dealership as needed.
  8. Helping maintain the cleanliness of customer vehicles through regular washing and vacuuming.
  9. Must be capable of lifting a minimum of fifty (50) pounds, as well as bending, reaching overhead, squatting, and stooping.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-focused environment is preferred.
  3. Ability to adapt to and embrace change with a customer-centric approach.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to technology advancement and advocacy for team members.
  5. Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and listening abilities.
  6. Ability to work effectively with customers, promoting a positive company image and striving to resolve customer issues.
