Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who excels in leading and developing teams. As a District Manager for our restaurant or convenience store operations, you will play a crucial role in guiding your team to deliver outstanding customer service, operational excellence, and a workplace that fosters engagement and embodies our company values. You will oversee the overall management of branded restaurants or convenience stores, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all team members warmly greet guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty.
2. Exhibit strong leadership qualities by establishing trust with your teams through clear goal-setting, accountability, and effective communication.
3. Build and nurture high-performing teams by recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and providing constructive feedback on performance.
4. Lead store associates fairly and consistently, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
5. Strive for operational excellence by setting performance goals aligned with company objectives, achieving financial targets, and pursuing continuous improvement.
6. Oversee food operations to guarantee the quality and safety of all products offered.
7. Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the stores, ensuring that food preparation and service areas meet company standards.
8. Manage quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and other guidelines essential for successful food service operations.
9. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Relationships:
Collaborate with Restaurant Clerks, Team Members, Shift Leaders, Assistant Managers, Restaurant Managers, General Managers, Brand Managers, and various corporate personnel.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Education: N/A
Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience: At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role within a restaurant environment.
Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the restaurant industry.
Preferred Licenses/Certifications and Skills:
Valid Driver's License; National Food & Safety certification (can be obtained during employment).
Soft Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills; high energy; ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks; team-oriented; willingness to assist others; basic computer skills are beneficial.
Scheduling:
This is a full-time position requiring flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as our locations may operate 24/7.
Hours & Conditions:
Minimum of 50 hours per week.
Travel:
5% travel may be required; reliable transportation is necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours a day and perform various physical tasks.
Other:
Specialized attire is required in food establishments, including slip-resistant footwear and attire as mandated by brand standards.
