About the Role
Kula Bio Inc is a leading biofertilizer company seeking a highly skilled agronomy and soil health expert to join our Commercial Team as a Western Technical Service Lead. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting our innovative biofertilizer technology to the agriculture industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to maximize product performance and agronomic fit, providing marketing input and innovative product/technology ideas.
- Develop and implement strategic trials/side-by-sides to showcase product impacts and demonstrate Kula Bio's product advantages.
- Engage growers for demonstration trials or product recommendations for relevant crops and application methods, analyzing commercial trial data to inform product positioning.
- Build relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and growers, maintaining a strong industry network and providing product education and support.
- Travel throughout the western side of the Rocky Mountains, primarily in California and Arizona, to promote Kula Bio's products and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in agronomy or a related field, with 10+ years of agronomy and soil health experience, or a Master's degree in agronomy with 5 years of experience.
- Established industry network and ability to maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and growers.
- Proven ability to position products in the agriculture-related agronomy market.
- Demonstrated experience implementing strategic trials/side-by-sides to showcase product impacts.
- 50% travel required throughout the western side of the Rocky Mountains.
- PCA license preferred but not required.
