Position Title: Head of Strategic Initiatives - International & Ingredients

Ocean Spray is seeking a Head of Strategic Initiatives for our International & Ingredients division. We are a cooperative of farmers, innovators, and achievers.

Position Overview:

This role offers flexibility as it will be a hybrid position based out of our corporate headquarters or a designated location with remote work options on select days.

As the Head of Strategic Initiatives for our International & Ingredients (I&I) sector, you will be instrumental in enhancing our global brand presence and optimizing value across various markets.

Your responsibilities will include the formulation and execution of international strategies, utilizing insights and market intelligence to guide decision-making and seize growth opportunities.

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer of I&I, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead Long-Range Planning (LRP) for the International & Ingredients sectors, encompassing segmented growth strategies, comprehensive investment plans, and essential enablers across systems, capabilities, and business models.

- Deliver pivotal strategic projects in collaboration with regional business units and cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations, R&D, Legal, Tax, HR, etc.) to propel I&I growth in alignment with LRP objectives.

- Leverage data-driven insights and market intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive challenges in international markets.

- Develop I&I Insights Capabilities across macroeconomic, category, consumer/shopper, and customer dimensions to facilitate the creation and execution of I&I growth strategies.

- Advocate for I&I strategic commercial capabilities with the management and sales teams, leading the I&I sales operations team to support cross-regional commercial activities.

- Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Performance Management Routine for I&I to ensure the achievement of strategic goals.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements in collaboration with regional business teams and key functional areas.


Qualifications:

- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Enterprise/Business/Commercial Strategy Development, Insights & Analytics, or Finance.

- Proven track record in leading global or multi-country strategy development and execution.

- Experience in the FMCG sector is essential, with exposure to both B2C and B2B environments being advantageous.

- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of key macroeconomic, industry, business, and financial metrics.

- Exceptional intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex business concepts and strategic implications clearly.

- Strong leadership capabilities, with a talent for collaboration and influencing senior leaders at a global level.

- Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop both direct and indirect team members.

- Experience and knowledge in Sales/RGM/Commercial preferred.


Education:

- Bachelor's or University Degree (Required); Master's Degree (Preferred)
