Essential Duties:

  • Performing structural analysis and design using timber, steel, concrete, and composite materials

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis is required, along with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree in Structural Engineering with no industry experience is acceptable.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • EIT certification
  • Interest in marine/waterfront structural design related to ports, marinas, and shore protection structures

Preferred Software Experience:
Familiarity with the following software is advantageous:

  • SAP2000 or STAAD
  • LPile
  • MicroStation
  • AutoCAD or Revit

Working Conditions:
This position is primarily office-based, with occasional fieldwork required. Some travel may be necessary to project sites.

Physical Requirements:
While most work is conducted in an office environment, site visits may involve navigating uneven terrain while carrying equipment.
