Position Title: Commercial Counsel

Location: San Francisco, US

Employment Type: Full-time

Department: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Compensation Range: $216K - $279K

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with commercial leadership to facilitate the expansion of go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee intricate commercial agreements, including drafting and negotiation processes.
  • Establish and nurture strong partnerships with sales and collaboration teams.
  • Engage with global legal, compliance, and risk management teams on international projects.
  • Foster a positive work environment and contribute to the culture of the legal team.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. degree with active membership in a state bar in the US.
  • 8+ years of legal expertise in the financial services and technology sectors.
  • Experience in fintech or rapidly growing companies is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic setting.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
