Position: Marketing Specialist

Job Overview: The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing a range of administrative and technical tasks associated with promoting the company's products and services. This role involves collaboration with various team members to enhance marketing strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting and executing the marketing strategy and operational plan.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Generate reports and metrics based on sales and marketing performance.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop demand generation initiatives.
  • Explore advertising opportunities in relevant trade publications and online platforms.
  • Create and manage the advertising budget and plan.
  • Execute media purchases with selected trade publications and online platforms.
  • Design and distribute advertisements and product profiles.
  • Draft press releases in conjunction with corporate communications for media distribution.
  • Update and design marketing materials for trade shows and promotional events.
  • Support capture management efforts by researching potential opportunities.
  • Assist proposal writers with packaging and visual elements, contributing to reports and metrics.
  • Consult with product development teams regarding product specifications and details.
  • Coordinate the preparation and ongoing updates of marketing collateral, including brochures and presentations.
  • Work with corporate communications to ensure the website remains current.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors, maintaining quality control over all assigned activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree in Marketing or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in sales and marketing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software is essential. Strong writing and verbal communication skills are required, along with a solid understanding of business operations.

Physical Requirements:

Employees may occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds and will work at a computer for extended periods. The work environment may involve exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.
