Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to enhance our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive clinical experience for all patients while adhering to company policies and relevant dental regulations under the guidance of an Orthodontist.

  • Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking comprehensive records under the supervision of the Orthodontist.
  • Perform bonding procedures, including the precise placement of brackets.
  • Review patient charts, accurately log patient data, and transcribe notes from the doctor.
  • Conduct laboratory procedures with limited oversight from the Orthodontist.
  • Perform final checks on patients and manage patient flow efficiently.
  • Oversee the remote monitoring dashboard, including reviewing and triaging patient scans, responding to messages, and managing notifications.
  • Educate patients on orthodontic care and the remote monitoring process.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and the operatory in accordance with established protocols.
  • Participate in local marketing initiatives and community events.
  • Adhere strictly to infection control policies and procedures.

  • Ability to perform all clinical duties and appointments autonomously with oversight from an Orthodontist.
