Advanced Practice Provider

UVA Health is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join its Cellular Therapy team in Charlottesville, VA. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our program.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a panel of patients with complex disease states, including hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.
- Perform bone marrow biopsies, cellular infusions, and other procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical assessments, and document findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Prescribe medications and therapies, and adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient responses and ongoing data collection.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master's degree.
- License or license eligible as an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Associate, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and Certified Nurse Midwife) as set forth by the state of Virginia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Current PALS/NRP, as required, specific to position. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as required, specific to position.
