Job Title: 16th EWS Electronic Warfare Engineer

DCS Corp is seeking a highly skilled Electronic Warfare Engineer to join our team at the 350th Spectrum Warfare Group (350 SWG) at Eglin AFB, Florida.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist the 350 SWG in developing and testing mission data to identify and/or defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct EW research, mission data development, and testing
  • Support EW system programming/reprogramming, working with EW system engineers to coordinate requirements
  • Prepare validation and verification test plans, participate in ground and flight-testing, and organize MD configuration control boards
  • Assist with data collection, recording, and post-test analysis
  • Conduct intelligence data mining and analysis
  • Analyze EW threat waveform and reprogram parametric data into mission data file (MDF) via SPECTRE module
  • Conduct validation & verification of MDF via characterization, correlation, compatibility testing using SITL and HITL
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters of Science Degree in Engineering with up to 3 years of experience
  • Active Secret security clearance and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance within 6-9 months of hire
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make recommendations
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of EW weapons systems development, test, and evaluation, and systems engineering
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) test and evaluation methodologies
  • Knowledge of various blue/grey and red threat systems and associated platforms
  • Previous experience with data analysis software and Intel sources
