About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Anticipate the needs of surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
  • Assist with surgical counts and maintain accurate records
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior Surgical Technologists
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
