Cardiac Echo Sonographer

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our team at our Eastowne location. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Deliver pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care, including patient assessment and emergency cardiac care.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated and properly maintained, and perform quality assurance monitoring.
- Generate high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular related structures.
- Participate in staff training and education, and monitor and record patient information.
- Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible and become registered within one year from date of hire.
