Job Summary

As a Project Manager in the Information Security team at American Credit Acceptance, you will be responsible for leading projects that drive business initiatives within the Information Security department. Your primary focus will be on ensuring clear communication, driving predictable and quality delivery, and driving continuous improvement of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove impediments for the scrum/project team
  • Arrange and run daily stand-up meetings and/or project meetings
  • Arrange Demo and decision-making meetings
  • Support the management team on strategic alignment
  • Support the management team by ensuring all processes are followed within cross-functional departments
  • Oversee design, implementation, QA, and validation of product
  • Support team efforts to achieve delivery objectives
  • Facilitate daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor product/project progress
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and business owners
  • Participate in learning opportunities to further develop self and community

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in business or related field preferred
  • Scrum Alliance A-CSM, Project Management (PMP) preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience as a SM and/or Project Manager
  • Experience in a Financial institution (understanding of financial governance) preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This job operates in a professional office environment. The daily schedule may vary from 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm. Hours may vary or exceed 40 in any given week depending on the needs of the business.
