Clinical Nurse II: C4/C3W: Infectious Disease/ Secure Unit

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Secure Unit at Albany Medical Center. This role requires a strong focus on progress toward discharge, including during transitions within the acute care stay.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care.
- Deliver and coordinate patient care provided by the caregiving team.
- Ensure competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers, including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
- Participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP) and progress from novice to competent within a specialty.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a focus on quality outcomes are essential for success in this role.
