Clinical Nurse II: Infectious Disease/Secure Unit

Albany Medical Center seeks a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage patient care needs throughout the episode of care, with a focus on progress toward discharge.
- Deliver and coordinate patient care provided by the caregiving team, ensuring competent and compassionate care is uniformly provided to customers.
- Participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP) and progress from novice to competent within a specialty.
- Apply for advancement to proficient or expert status as outlined in the NPAP.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
