Position: Industrial Automation Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy industrial control systems and processes.
  • Lead design and software evaluations to ensure project automation objectives are met.
  • Program and troubleshoot industrial control systems effectively.
  • Identify automation enhancement opportunities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engage with clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee projects within established budgetary and timeline constraints.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for automation-related issues.
  • Create and interpret schematics for automation equipment.
  • Provide technical support and advice to clients and contractors.
  • Perform any additional duties as required to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of automation systems and technologies.
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Rockwell, and Wonderware Intouch.
  • Experience with distributed control systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Mechanical comprehension of automated processes.
  • Competence in CAD software for electrical schematic design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Application of mathematical principles to practical challenges.
  • Effective planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Skilled in interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule instructions.
