Clinical Department Manager

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Clinical Director in overseeing and developing the Clinical department, including hiring, supervision, evaluation, and scheduling. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and oversee all aspects of the clinical department in the absence of the Clinical Director
- Conduct group supervision, twice monthly and individual supervision, once a month
- Communicate any staff challenges to the Clinical Director
- Recommend plans for improvement for clinical team members
- Assist in interviewing new clinical team members and initiate, implement, and monitor compliance with evidence-based practices
- Work with other members of the management team to ensure successful communication and coordination between departments
- Provide clinical training to clinical services staff and interns, and lead daily staff briefing meetings
- Master's degree in a mental health-related field required
- Licensed, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCDC, in the State of practice, with full LCAS
- 2+ years of progressively responsible mental health and substance use program management experience and staff supervision
- Experience in chemical dependency/substance use/psychiatric settings or human services field preferred
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs
