Position Summary:

The IA & SS Master role focuses on Information Assurance and Security, requiring a hybrid work arrangement with occasional on-site presence in Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose network issues and propose enhancements to optimize performance.
  • Monitor and analyze data traffic patterns within the OCFO Network Infrastructure.
  • Stay updated on security threats, including malware and worms, and provide guidance on mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure network reliability through proactive measures.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic systems architecture plans.
  • Manage storage infrastructure, including NetApp Storage and related technologies such as virtualization, FC/FCOE, NFS, and ISCSI.
  • Oversee VMware Infrastructure design and administration, ensuring full integration with SAN for Motion and VMware SRM multi-site management.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity processes and tools.
  • Administer Active Directory services for operational stability and maintenance.
Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience in developing and enhancing Information Security policies and requirements (16 years required).
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments of computer systems and applications (16 years required).
  • Identify, report, and resolve security violations (16 years required).
  • Experience in managing complex Enterprise-level projects.
  • Expertise in Windows server operating systems.
  • Knowledge of on-premise and cloud security solutions, as well as IP Networks/Security.
  • Extensive troubleshooting experience with NetApp SAN.
  • Hands-on management of storage on VMware ESXi.
  • Strong understanding of server and endpoint operating systems.
  • Experience with Windows 2016 AD Enterprise troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Avoidance Planning.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly MS Azure.
  • Expertise in SAN replication and Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience with VMware Site Recovery Manager.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in IT infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (required).
  • Master's degree in IT or a related field (required).
  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH (required).
