Senior SecOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SecOps Engineer to accelerate our growth and enhance the security of our platform, infrastructure, and tooling.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, operating, and continuously improving our security solutions to ensure the security of Odaseva's platform, infrastructure, and tooling.

You will identify, evaluate, and address security weaknesses, proposing solutions to mitigate risks and uphold Odaseva's core value of trust.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement technical security solutions to monitor and control the security of our cloud infrastructure, custom code, and SaaS applications.
  2. Analyze and monitor risk trends using SIEM alerts, scanning technologies, penetration tests, and more.
  3. Identify root causes, drive remediation efforts, and fine-tune security baselines.
  4. Work closely with Product, Infrastructure, R&D, and business teams to define actionable responses to security issues.
  5. Challenging existing security practices and routines, updating, replacing, or automating them as needed.
  6. Work with security team members worldwide to leverage collective intelligence in addressing security challenges.
  7. Promote a continuous focus on security within the dev & ops community through training, coaching, process integration, and automation, fostering a successful SecOps culture.
Your Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing security solutions for cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications.
  • Strong Linux and public cloud security (Azure, AWS, etc.) skills.
  • Experience with SIEM technologies.
  • Ability to write code (NodeJS / scripting / terraform) to automate security controls.
  • Experience with technical compliance such as CIS benchmark, STIG and NIST guidelines (FedRamp).
  • Experience on auditing and securing Salesforce applications.
  • Comfortability to work collaboratively across diverse regions and teams to meet organisational security goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Preferred Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in a Senior/Lead Security position.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
  • Ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical professionals.
  • Developer background and mindset.
