Job Summary

As a Child Care Attendant, you will be responsible for providing quality child care and a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will supervise children in designated areas within the Child Development programs, with work hours varying during the week.

Requirements / Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must hold a High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma. Experience in pre-kindergarten related child-care, activities, or programs is preferred. Child Care Attendant II, Child Development requires six (6) ECE accredited units, and you must have served 75% of the school year as a Child Care Attendant, Child Development.

Additionally, you must provide proof of immunizations for influenza, pertussis, and measles (Senate Bill 792: Day Care Facilities and Immunizations), and pass an employee entrance evaluation (lifting test).

Eligibility Pool

This position is eligible for per diem work.
