Job Overview:

As a Claims Recovery Associate, you will be responsible for investigating, negotiating, and resolving subrogation claims that are valued at $2,000 or less, arising from third-party damages to company assets. You will also provide essential administrative support to colleagues managing higher-value claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into claims, including gathering official reports and engaging with relevant parties.
  • Effectively manage conflicts and navigate challenging situations.
  • Utilize databases and analytical skills to assess and calculate claim values, adhering to a paperless claims management approach.
  • Process payments to vendors and agencies for investigative documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable Accounting Department to ensure accurate recovery processing and reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives and community service activities.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree is preferred.

Experience:
Associate Analyst-Claims: Minimum of 3 years in property and casualty claims, litigation support, or related experience.

Associate Analyst-Claims, Sr: Minimum of 7 years in property and casualty claims, litigation support, or related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in investigating and resolving a high volume of small liability claims. Strong communication skills to interact with various organizational levels, manage expectations, and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with computer applications such as word processing and spreadsheets is essential.

Certifications:
Licensed Claims Adjuster (to be obtained post-employment). Additional certifications in claims, paralegal studies, or administrative support are desirable.
