Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of daily, monthly, and annual accounting functions.
  • Oversee and manage the general ledger.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Review and process Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for management team.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
  • Participate in preparation for the annual audit.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the workflow of the department.
  • Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting functions and maintain financial records.
  • Assist in other special projects as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Medical industry.
  • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, and Financial Statements Preparation.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
