Job Summary

The Chief Credit Officer plays a critical role in managing the risk and credit function of the Wintrust Equipment Finance Division. This senior credit position oversees the Division's credit team, ensuring the overall credit quality and development of the credit process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the credit process, compliance, and overall credit quality for the WEF division
  • Lead and train the WEF credit staff
  • Review and approve equipment finance/lease transactions within assigned approval limit
  • Underwrite complex equipment finance/lease transactions
  • Collaborate with bank deal teams on customer and prospect calls
Requirements
  • 7-10 years experience as Head of Credit in a financial institution - Equipment Finance Industry credit experience a plus
  • Proven people management experience
