Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist individuals entering the clinic.
  • Manage all incoming telephone inquiries and offer pertinent information to callers.
  • Relay messages to the appropriate staff members efficiently.
  • Guide visitors and patients to their designated areas.
  • Answer calls with the TFH greeting, screening and directing them to the relevant departments.
  • Confirm patient appointments as instructed.
  • Handle scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations of appointments.
  • Ensure the reception and waiting areas are kept tidy and organized.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent experience. A minimum of one year of experience in a receptionist or front desk role is required. Candidates must hold a valid NY state driver’s or non-driver ID/license. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices is essential, along with proficiency in computer systems and relevant software applications. Strong work ethics, bilingual proficiency in Spanish is mandatory, and the ability to demonstrate initiative, reliability, stress management, attention to detail, and effective verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.
