Job Overview

This high-level sales leadership position oversees national advertising sales for NBCUniversal, a global leader in marketing communications. As the successful candidate, you will lead a team of experienced sales professionals and drive advertising revenue across NBCUniversal's portfolio of brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic plans with major advertising agencies and their clients to drive multi-million-dollar growth.
  • Operate as a thought leader for the Ad Sales Partnerships team, owning regional annual sales targets for assigned brands.
  • Negotiate complex deals with executive management to optimize advertising sales performance.
  • Represent NBCUniversal in key relationships and deals.
Negotiation and Leadership:
  • Negotiate and close challenging accounts, developing and executing sales strategies across all platforms to maximize revenue.
  • Manage deal decisions for assigned brands, overseeing a team of Account Directors and partnering with internal stakeholders to align on priority initiatives.
Communication and Collaboration:
  • Proven executive presence with exceptional verbal and written skills, strategic capabilities, effective collaboration, and superior influencing skills.
  • Influential leadership, strong motivator, and ability to manage through change.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of extensive Sales/Sales senior management experience in the ad sales industry required.
  • 5+ years of VP level sales management with cable multi-platform sales experience.
  • Prior management/team leadership experience.
Compensation Package:

$240,000 - $320,000 (sales incentive commission and long-term incentive eligible)
