Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team as a school-based therapist. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work as a valued member of our therapy teams to provide individualized services to children with autism, working under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities:- Assist in the implementation of positive behavior support plans, IEP, and/or 504 plans utilizing ABA principles in the school setting.
- Provide direct 1:1 and/or small group therapy to identified student(s) to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction interventions as directed by the BCBA.
- Implement and report data on programs such as student's IEP goals, behavioral management, social skills, and academic areas.
- Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of school district staff.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for students and school teams.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field, preferred.
- Valid driver license and ability to travel to various schools within assigned region.
- Active Registered Behavior Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Prior professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting is a plus.
