Job Summary:
The Automotive Technician plays a vital role in our automotive service team, learning and developing foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, this role involves hands-on learning to address various automotive systems and services. Automotive Technicians participate in routine inspections, contribute to vehicle assessments, and assist in repair procedures. Additionally, Automotive Technicians may interact with customers to explain repair procedures, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes and tire maintenance.
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance and repairs.
  • Install parts and accessories.
  • Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle safety and performance.

Requirements:
  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and develop technical skills.
  • Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational-technical program in a related field.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1-A8 is preferred.
  • Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
