Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Senior Water Resources Engineer with extensive experience in the field of water and wastewater management. This role involves the planning, design, and analysis of various engineering projects related to water treatment facilities, sewage systems, and distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analyses and develop engineering solutions for wastewater treatment plants and associated infrastructure.
- Serve as a representative for the firm, engaging with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout project phases.
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including reports, permit applications, design specifications, and contract documents.
- Oversee the operational aspects of water and wastewater treatment facilities, providing troubleshooting and guidance to staff.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in water and wastewater engineering is preferred, with a proven track record in delivering engineering projects.
Licensure: Candidates must be a Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania or be eligible to obtain licensure within a year. A PA Class A Wastewater Operator License is advantageous.
Skills: Proficiency in developing engineering deliverables, strong communication skills for client interaction, and familiarity with AutoCAD is desirable.
