Job Opportunity

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join our Technology and Operations team. As a key member of our SRE team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable systems to support our business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement SRE solutions to improve system reliability, availability, and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize SRE initiatives
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely issue detection and resolution
  • Lead incident management and problem management efforts to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive SRE initiatives and lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to ensure effective issue resolution
