Job Description

At Hispanic Technology Executive Council, we are committed to delivering exceptional results through the power of technology. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and observability of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering and technology teams to improve reliability and observability for the services we support.
  • Plan and implement instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting, and on-call routines as defined in observability designs.
  • Engage in production triage and problem management to identify and resolve issues.
  • Support code enhancements to automate services and improve reliability and observability.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a 4-year degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3+ years of automation engineer working experience.
  • Experience in DevOps and GitOps.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Experience in programming and infra-automation tools Ansible, Java, Python, etc.
  • Experience with BMC TrueSight Orchestration.
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language (i.e. Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience in RHEL and/or Windows System Administration.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience on technology and infrastructure teams.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with solution delivery processes and technical strategy development.

Pay and Benefits

$95,000.00 - $155,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
