The Springfield Hospital Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled Clinical Care Associate to join our Inpatient Unit team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering patient care and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

About the Role

This full-time position requires the successful candidate to work 60 nights per month, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

As a Clinical Care Associate, you will be responsible for assisting Registered Nurses in providing patient care, adhering to established protocols and competencies, and maintaining accurate records. You will also have opportunities to participate in education and training programs, ensuring that your skills and knowledge remain up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and increase knowledge in areas of practice to ensure effective patient care delivery.
  • Demonstrate minimum knowledge, skills, and ability to participate in the care of age-specific populations.
  • Function as part of a team to provide support to the Inpatient Unit environment.
  • Manage clerical functions, including entering orders into computer systems and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Successful completion of an approved course for Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs).
  • Current Vermont LNA license and BLS certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferably with previous health care experience).
