We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Springfield Medical Care Systems. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients in need.

About the Job

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This full-time position involves working 72 days a year with potential floating to other departments when there is low census.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients following established standards and practices
  • Utilize the nursing process to make informed decisions and document patient care
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
  • Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing
  • Six (6) months of nursing experience desirable for specialty areas
  • Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan
  • Effective communication and people skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products and technology in care delivery
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Basic dysrhythmia
  • De-escalation training
  • Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Course within one year of hire
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) preferred
