Job Summary

This role involves providing high-quality patient care while adhering to the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice. You will utilize the Nursing Process to make informed decisions and assume responsibilities for nursing care and documentation. Additionally, you will ensure that your practice meets compliance with State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice
  • Utilize the Nursing Process to make informed decisions and assume responsibilities for nursing care and documentation
  • Ensure practice meets compliance with State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
  • An active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • De-escalation Training
  • Basic Dysrhythmia
  • Telemetry certification or equivalent
  • ACLS certification
  • Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas
  • Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan
  • Effective people skills and communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products
  • Proficiency in technology in care delivery
  • Progressive Care Certification (preferred)
  • Medical Surgical Certification (preferred)
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 based on location and experience.
