In this position, you will be responsible for responding to calls and assisting clients with various inquiries, occasionally making outbound calls, processing payment transactions, helping clients with online account access and questions, initiating refund requests, and managing tickets for complex issues or escalations that require further attention. This role operates under the guidance of the Client Support Manager.
- Ensures that requests for new and renewal sales inquiries are directed to the suitable sales representative for follow-up
- Delivers a considerate and empathetic client interaction regardless of the circumstances, with a strong emphasis on customer service
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve client issues
- Strives to provide an exceptional client experience while maintaining efficiency and meeting established performance metrics
- Acts as a client advocate; offers insights to management and other key internal stakeholders to support retention strategies and enhance overall client satisfaction
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety regulations
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required
- This entry-level role does not necessitate prior experience; however, you will be expected to deliver high-quality client service, manage calls, and handle collections. Familiarity with sales or customer service environments may be beneficial
- You will act as a client advocate in the Retail Electric Provider (REP) sector, gaining insights into ERCOT and Non-ERCOT Markets (PJM, MISO, NYISO)
- Experience in customer service for energy commercial end-users, supporting agreed-upon products and services is preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Siebel is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, primarily through email and phone interactions
- Adeptness at multitasking in a dynamic environment, accurately navigating multiple systems, and managing various assignments with precision and timeliness is crucial
- This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days in the office
- Compliance with ENGIE's COVID vaccination and testing policy is mandatory
- Adherence to all ENGIE ethics and safety policies is required
Salary Range: $47,600 - $66,570 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus/incentive plan.
