CNC Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Maintenance Specialist to join our team at W3Global Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine operations and management, with a focus on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC mills and lathes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, repeatability, and availability of our CNC equipment through preventive maintenance, precise repairs, and timely responsiveness. As a senior member of our maintenance team, you will also support all facilities and other maintenance operations, serving as a lead technician for repair and maintenance tasks across the board.
Key Responsibilities:- Work safely at all times, adhering to our safety rules and regulations and promoting a Safety First culture.
- Check machine alignments (rotational and linear axis) to ensure machines and alignments are returned to factory tolerance specifications.
- Perform repairs and maintenance to meet or exceed original manufacturers' quality standards.
- Maintain organization in toolboxes and shop areas.
- Quickly respond to unplanned downtime to restore our production equipment to normal operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills and lathes with a focus on machine availability and reliability.
- Prioritize repairs and maintenance based on our operational and production needs.
- Efficiently move between preventive tasks, audits, inspections, and unplanned repairs.
- Stay on task and communicate effectively with our production and maintenance leadership to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records through our CMMS to track hours and document work performed.
- Support fellow team members to ensure the completion of all tasks.
- Coordinate with vendors for installations, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
- Provide input for the evolution of our CMMS through data entry and proper record-keeping.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 4-7 years of experience in facilities with CNC machine operations and management.
- Full working knowledge of tooling and methods for troubleshooting and repair of machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to use machine controls for testing basic functions and enter G code commands via MDI operation of CNCs.
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
- Strong knowledge of basic electricity (AC/DC theory, relays, switches, solenoids, etc.), power generation, and three-phase distribution.
- Familiarity with PLC logic principles and the ability to read PLC ladder logic.
- Basic PC skills with experience in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems (Limble experience preferred).
- Experience with measuring instruments and tools for precision work.
- Ability to operate necessary equipment, such as forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and motorized pallet jacks.
