Job Overview

This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio, video, lighting, and automation systems for residential and commercial clients.
  • Lead a team of technicians, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure that projects are completed to the highest standard.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to execute project designs.
  • Conduct final system walkthroughs and training with clients.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any post-installation concerns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV installations and automation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Savant, Crestron, and Lutron platforms.
  • Proficient in networking systems, including Ruckus, PfSense (Netgate), and Domotz.
  • Experience with IP cameras and surveillance systems (e.g., Axis, 2N IP Verso).
  • Knowledge of AV system integration, including HDMI, video distribution, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system layouts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) - Will need to be CTS certified within 1 year of employment if not presently CTS.
  • CEDIA certification or equivalent.
  • Savant, Crestron, or Lutron system certifications.
  • Networking certifications (CCNA, Ruckus, etc.).
