About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Pathology Specialist to join their team in Helena, MT. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients referred for Speech/Language Pathology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients referred for Speech/Language Pathology services
  • Develop personalized plans of care for each patient after evaluation
  • Discuss treatment plans with patients and/or parents/guardians
  • Assist patients in achieving maximum performance and function in society despite disabilities
  • Participate in performance improvement activities within the department
  • Maintain licensure and personal competency
  • Provide input on departmental budget considerations related to Speech Pathology needs for optimal patient care and service
  • Collaborate with the front desk for scheduling patient visits and ensuring insurance authorization when necessary
  • Maintain timely documentation and charges according to department guidelines
  • Participate in infection control, safety, computer optimization, and educational programs

Requirements

  • Knowledge of speech pathology principles and practices
  • Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique, and its impact on rehabilitative medicine practice and equipment
  • 1-5 years of experience working as a speech/language pathologist, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
  • A master's degree from an approved college or school of speech/language pathology
  • Eligibility for a certificate of clinical competence
  • Current State Licensure in speech pathology (as Speech Pathologist)
  • Current BLS certification

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
