Sales Development Representative

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Eastern Metal Supply. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and growing our existing customer base in Central and Northern New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the metals industry
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales and market share
- Introduce new products and services to customers to drive revenue growth
- Effectively communicate EMS' unique value proposition and competitive advantages
- Implement margin improvement initiatives and suggest new inventory items to drive sales growth
- Prepare and present pricing and proposals to customers
- Manage customer records and provide regular sales reports
- Travel to customer sites to build relationships and drive sales growth
- 4-year college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in the metals industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
