Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Department Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience, overseeing a team of Associates, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates a positive internal and external customer experience by providing exceptional customer service and promoting loyalty programs.
  • Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and upholding company values.
  • Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, including personalizing the customer experience and promoting loyalty programs.
  • Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
  • Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizing as needed.
  • Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, providing progress updates.
  • Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback, partnering with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, promoting credit and loyalty programs.
  • Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs, promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to train others and possess 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Compensation:

This position has a starting pay range of $ to $ per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
