Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of the Long Island Electric System and NYISO market structure, as well as awareness and knowledge of NYISO Transmission Interconnection Process and recent interconnection study reform. Additionally, they will have wholesale power contracting experience, both from commercial and regulatory ends. The successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and be adaptable and results-oriented.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project management of generating resources (Renewable/Non-Renewable) to LIPA Transmission and Distribution System.
  • Negotiation of interconnection agreements, engineering and procurement agreements, and other regulatory and operational agreements.
