Responsibilities

As a Civil Engineer with PSE&G, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and evaluating designs for electric transmission systems and related facilities

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that our transmission system infrastructure meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency

• Participating in research and development initiatives to improve performance and efficiency of our electric transmission systems

• Working with external organizations and customers to develop pragmatic engineering solutions for special projects

• Performing budget and project cost estimates, special engineering studies, investigations, and calculations as required

• Maintaining accurate records of time accounting, expense, and capital time

You must have the ability to travel occasionally to represent the department and company at industry meetings and vendor inspections. Some positions may require night and weekend work during emergencies.
