Head of School Position

Mt. St. Dominic Academy is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its next Head of School. As the chief academic and administrative officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic vision and leadership to the school community.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background, with a master's degree in educational leadership or a related field. They will have a proven track record of successful school leadership, with experience in upper school grades. The candidate will also be able to advocate for the unique needs of young women and promote a culture of empowerment and inclusivity.

The Head of School will be responsible for the overall quality of the student experience, ensuring that the school's mission and values are upheld. They will work closely with the Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff to develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with the school's goals and objectives.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who is able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, parents, and the broader community. They will be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

The Head of School will also be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the school's facilities, as well as the oversight of the school's budget and financial management.
