About the Role

As a Car Electronics Specialist, you'll utilize your technical expertise to install cutting-edge technology in customers' vehicles. In this position, you'll adhere to established protocols for recommending, troubleshooting, and installing mobile electronics tailored to each vehicle. You'll also share automotive technology insights, best practices, and recommendations with clients and other employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install standard mobile electronic solutions, including T-harness remote starts, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers, and in-dash units.
  • Verify vehicle make and model and communicate any compatibility concerns prior to installation.
  • Use provided guides to identify compatible mobile electronic products and complete installation projects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Current, valid driver's license.
  • Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy's safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience installing car electronics.
  • Prior retail experience.
