Job Summary

The Sr. Systems Engineer I at Exelon plays a critical role in designing and optimizing IT infrastructure systems to ensure secure and reliable hosting of applications within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various teams to deliver solutions that address business needs and maintain security posture.
  • Design and implement cloud and hybrid-cloud systems to meet business requirements.
  • Leverage expertise in system administration, process design, and automation to drive innovation and problem-solving.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4-7 years' experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, disaster/recovery, or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and document processes & procedures.
  • Experience transitioning work to operational teams.
Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for individuals with certifications such as NERC-CIP, FERC, AZ900, and experience building highly scalable applications.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary: $107,200 - $160,800. Bonus eligibility, 401(k) match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off options, and long-term incentive plan.
