Job Description
The Sr. Systems Engineer I at Exelon plays a critical role in designing and optimizing IT infrastructure systems to ensure secure and reliable hosting of applications within a complex enterprise environment. This position involves collaboration with various teams to deliver solutions that address business needs, maintain security posture, and implement cloud and hybrid-cloud systems. With a focus on innovation and problem-solving, the engineer leads discussions on system requirements, develops technical specifications, and provides mentorship within the IT department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, delivering, documenting, and supporting infrastructure systems.
  • Maintaining deep knowledge of technology and its application across our business areas or for our customers.
  • Leading in technological innovation to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networking.
  • 4-7 years' experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, disaster/recovery, or 6-9 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with system administration, demonstrated ability to design and document processes & procedures.
  • Maintained experience with Microsoft Active Directory – 2016 and above.
  • Demonstrated competence with business acumen within own discipline or function.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.

What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $107,200.00/Yr. - $160,800.00/Yr., an annual bonus for eligible positions of 15%, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off options, and much more.
