Alpha Media is a progressive multimedia company that shares music, sports, and news content across various platforms. As a part-time Sports Broadcasting Professional, you will be responsible for creating engaging on-air experiences for our listeners. This role will be based in Redwood Falls and will involve broadcasting live from remote locations and events, as well as play-by-play commentary of local sports teams.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of on-air experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. They must be able to work weeknights and weekends, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be knowledgeable of all applicable FCC rules and regulations. Proficiency in audio editing software and broadcast equipment is also necessary.

As a member of our tight-knit team, you will be expected to be a positive and creative individual who can work well with management and staff at all levels. You will also be responsible for executing station events and remotes, relating to the audience, and having a strong listener interaction. Public speaking skills and the ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting are also essential.

We are seeking a motivated and innovative individual who can bring a strong work ethic to our team. A valid driver's license and fully insured personal vehicle are also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Broadcast live from remote locations and events.

Requirements:

Estimated Salary: $25-$35 per hour
